What is CONNECT! all about? This site explains exactly that.
 
What’s the purpose of this Project?
To build a community and visit very interesting museums and arts institutions even without any preknowledge.
 
How?
1. We first meet in the digital realm of the Discord-Server where we decide on an institution to visit.

2. In the safe environment of the chosen museum/institution, we meet in person and get to know each other. Then we go visit with a specific task in mind and discuss our thoughts and experiences afterwards.
 
3. And then we return to the digital realm, where we can post photos and comments on how the experience was. Also, and most importantly: you can post your wishes for the next visit, so that this server grows to be a veritable community server.
 
What do you need to do to be part of this community?
Firstly: join the CONNECT! Discord-group by clicking on this link.
And once there: Welcome! Be kind. This is a safe place, where you can be your best self. Be exactly that.
 
Does this cost you anything?
The entrance fee of the institution and the eventual ticket for the public transportation are on you.
And CONNECT! will cost you time, of course. I plan these meetings to be about an hour long, but this can vary, depending on how many people will participate and the conversations ensuing. Plus: once that you have gotten the ticket you can prolong your visit at your discretion or go have a coffee with your new acquaintance(s).
 
Who is behind all this?
I am Silvia, an Italian citizen, and the host of the CONNECT! Discord-server, the first person welcoming you on it. I am an Arts and Culture education student, and this is my project for the CAS. Want to know more about the CAS? Link
